ATT called me just before Christmas and told me they were changing every one to Uverse. I would get better and speedier internet. My phone was included in the package as well as direct tv and this bundle would be a third less than what I was paying now. After 3 attempts of installing my phone and the internet nothing works. Not only did I lose my internet I lost my phone # that I have had for 13,years. I am beyond frustrated I am angry. Jan 2nd comcast is coming out, hopefully the can get the job done. Every phone call I made to ATT they assured me that it was a small glitch and they were working on it. The last phone call I had they told me my account was cancelled and they could not open a new one. That was the day I went to comcast. I am using my iPad to get on the internet but using one finger to type is not the way I want to converse with the internet, I have cellular data that enables me to get on the internet. Right now nobody can call me on my land phone. I did have a wonderful Christmas and hope all of you did as well. Happy New Year everyone.

I googled and found the email address for the president of Uverse. I sent him an email regarding my problems with uverse and how upset I was about the whole situation. He assigned my email to one of the managers and he emailed me telling me that he was sorry about all the problems and wanted more details regarding what had happened.

I emailed him back and he responded and asked me if I would give uverse another chance. I jumped on it because I really did not want to switch. I did ask for their best technician and yesterday he came. In 15 minutes I had my internet and my phone up and running. He told me that the other techs had hooked me up to a dead telephone line. He fixed that and told me he was going to recommend that the techs take another training test.

Yea! I get to keep my telephone number and all is good.
