Do you like to use multiple identical pieces in one room?
Here is a room I found that does just that. What do you think?
I think there are too many identical pieces in the space. This makes the room look too staged and too perfect. There are 2 identical sofas, 2 sets of identical chairs, 2 identical lamps, 2 identical plants in the corners, and identical pillows on the furniture. That's a lot of sameness!
I would definitely remove some of the duplicates, and replace them with different items for more interest.
There is also too much symmetry in this room for me. I'd prefer a more natural flow of furnishings instead of a mirror image of the room on both sides.
I do like the color mix of tan, yellow, green, and white. Love the coffee table and flowers on it.

Wilma, I agree with everything you said so eloquently.
I would say "too matchy, matchy". I love the room, the windows, the pale yellow wall color and the green chairs. I like the art work and the mantle has attractive and just the right amount of bric a brac.
If they had only made either the chairs or sofas a different fabric, it would have been perfect.

Pretty colors, but reminds me of a fancy waiting room or hotel lobby!

Agree with you, @wilma , that there are a few too many duplicates in the room.
Contributing to the problem is the stiff, rather amateurish angled placement of the two sets of chairs. One set, not angled in that way, would be better. As it is now, it is clumsy and impersonal.
Symmetry is a time-honored way to bring a sense of calm and elegance to a room, but like anything, shouldn't become an obsession, ha.

It looks like a display in a furniture store. Two identical living room sets looks bizarre.

Interesting as it's almost like a mirror image. Maybe if the furniture was spread out a bit more it would work better. I do like the chairs by the fireplace but would have them facing the fireplace and maybe have it be a separate sitting area?? I also like the colors, I would never be brave enough to paint my own living room yellow.
ETA Oh yeah and those giant ferns would have to go, LOL!

@wilma A cheerful happy room but it looks like someone just moved in and the furniture is not arranged yet! I do like the colors.

There are numerous things to dislike about this room.

The exact duplicates make this room a study in monotony. You're immediately challenged to find one thing that doesn't match.
