No mountain cabin for me either.

Mountain cabin is for me. I love the mountains and their inhabitants. Winter is the only season I do not enjoy there.

Just beautiful...but, while I wouldn't mind going for a vacation, I hate to think about driving winding, twisting mountain roads every day, in all kinds of weather!

 While I am in the mountians, I care nothing for the woody cabin look so associated with the concept.

@CANDLEQUEEN   Of all the ones you posted, I'll take this.  Would not like to live near any body of water--too damp and IMO too boring!

Not my style, but a cabin would be my best choice...not living all year, though.  Too desolate.  

I've lived in the wilderness and by the ocean.  It may be somewhere we dream of living...it's greener on the other side of the fence...until we live there for awhile only to find out it isn't greener all the time.

I think this would be especially pretty in the Fall and Winter!!!

That's a beautiful and appealing house but hardly a cabin.  I'd live there in a heartbeat.
