Well, there's shiplap. Otherwise, not seeing so much 'Farmhouse', which is actually fine... As for the room, more or less a meh, for me...

I like it but that wicker type chair is a no for me.  No wicker in the house (or outside either).

Looks like a decorators idea of farmhouse.

Re: Updated Farmhouse Look

Farmhouse (both update and old fashioned), French Country, Shabby Chic....always been, still is my style. This does seem like someone else said...a "decorator's version" of "farmhouse"....it's such a broad term used for so many versions now..

Love this couch/settee with the ticking look. That area rug in the antiqued/washed aqua is beautiful too. Love soft aqua. Some people when they do it they overdo it, going for "coastal"....but it's beautifully subtle here.

Not a fan of that black lamp, and that coffee table is ok in the setting but wouldn't be my style...but the room, overall, with the french doors and plenty of natural light...nice.

Shiplap and ticking on the sofa is the nod to "farmhouse" the Asian ginger jar and the dark wicker and a ? for me.

I like that the room is bright and it has a comfortable look.  However, it is just OK, not much more for me.
