Update on HOA issues

As several of you predicted as it grows ever closer to the time when most of the homeowners will be returning for the winter season - the clubhouse and pool areas have been meticiously cleaned including the pool deck area. All the furniture has been repaired or replaced and placed around the pool. The spa is repaired and the pool heater/cooler is working perfectly.The yards have all been manicured- every weed pulled and every thing in general has been gone over with a fine toothed comb.

The problem though, as I see it is, if I was to stay here all summer I would not be satisfied that they let everything go to pot then bring in crews and spiff it all up just when the masses are returning. We pay all year we should have service all year.I'm still going to raise this issue at the HOA annual meeting. I am appaled by this. if I wasn't scheduled to have knee surgery we would be just coming back now and we wouldn't have known about this at all but because we came back early we do. Am I being too harsh? There are only a few who stay all summer and they are all much more elderly and don't use the pool facilities. But what if weloaned our house to some friends or family while we were away they would think we live with that all the time.
