This cabinet is a better use of space.  I'd have to be able to get the maximum number of pieces in the amount of floor space used.

Shoes in cabinet is a great idea - wish I had the extra room as I sure have the shoes to store.  Way, way too many, but I love them.

The living room with the pink couch is so unusual and I love it. 

@lolakimonoI have seen your postings with your boots and you have many that would be showcase worthy.

I also like the idea of using jewelry as decor.  I have done that in a small way in some of my groupings .  I have so many beautiful and large pieces it would be great to display them, but would have to be careful not to look cluttered or junky.

@AnikaBrodie  The ice cube tray is a great idea for storing jewelry, not just earrings, but also chains, rings, pendants and they could stack and store quite a few items.

Very interesting! I would only do something like that though if it could fit in my bedroom....Which in my current house, that wouldn't work......It is a very interesting concept however!

That's a terrific idea with the ice cube trays to store jewelry, I'm going to try that.

I don't like the brown cabinet for shoe storage.  I'd refinish it and use as a display case for glass items.  I do like the two white cabinets for the shoes.  I'd probably put something else in it.  Like someone said, I don't consider shoes as art.

No. It only looks good for a picture.  I like the cabinet but not for shoes.
