What do you think about living trees inside buildings? Would you build your house around a tree to include it in your interior design?
My allergies to tree pollen & my asthma would make it a big no for me. I don’t think I would want fallen leaves in my home. I would also be concerned about bugs and other critters in my house.
Some of the designs are creative and interestng. I do think they soften the look of more modern & industrial settings, but I’ll keep my trees outside.

I love it though I'm not sure how good it would be for the trees and the risk of root damage.

No, I would not want a tree growing in my home. I would like trees outside my home. I think it trees are inside they would be better in an office building environment.

@wilma We had a small courtyard with 2 trees in the center of our offices. I was responsible for keeping the area in good shape and calling in the tree trimmers, etc. We also had tables and chairs. I was responsible for cleaning them as well. ARGGG! Never again, unless I don't have to take care of them. I will say, however, the snow falling in full view of the cubicles was enough to make you quit for the day!

I think they're cool, but I don't think I would want one.

@wilma I stayed at a beautiful Airbnb in Escazu, Costa Rica a few years ago, and they had a HUGE enclosed indoor space similar to the first picture, with many native plants, bushes and a few small trees. It was beautiful, and is not uncommon in that region.😊
~~~All we need is LOVE💖
I think these pictures are beautiful! I'd love to be in a space most like the one that looked like a cafe.
Even better would be in a space where you could have lunch.
Personally, especially for a residential building, I think it's more or less a ridiculous concept and one I wouldn't pursue.
