I have seen them as well but not the same quality. I suspect a different manufacturer? Anyway, for the same price and free shipping it is a wash.

Thank you sooooo much for this scoop! I just ordered two and was soooo excited to see the colors I wanted were still in stock. I am thinking Christmas gifts, but who knows. I love throws and how much they add to a room and these look super nice for the coming winter. Shhhh......pretend I did not use that word.

Marsha2003, That is exactly what I thought. What a nice gift. Sometimes you just run out of ideas or you don't want to give your girlfriends the same thing every year. You will be pleasantly surprised when you receive. Kat

I am a "Throw Fanatic" and absolutely love them, as they add such a wonderful accent to every room.....I have several and change them depending on the season....more lighter ones for Spring/Summer and heavier ones for Fall/Winter....I just can't seem to resist a beautiful Throw!
Pottery Barn has a great collection and I have bought at least five various throws from them in the past and took advantage of their sales....I also just bought a couple from Country Curtains....They are called the "Ruffled Throw" and come in great colors....I bought two...one in the green and one in the cream....They are very unique and really beautiful....more expensive than the great buy you got at Pottery Barn....but if you all would like to check them out, just go to the Country Curtains' website.
Oh, I also bought my sister a beautiful quilted throw from Brookstones for Christmas last year....just in case you all want to check those out also!...LOL
Thanks so much for your post!....Enjoy your beautiful Throw!

I'll check it out.
We're big into blankets and throws over here. I have two of the Berkshire Blankets from the Q, but they are ugly and matted now and need to be thrown out. I wash them fairly often, but their appearance ain't great.
I use them when I know no one is coming over.

I should add that the Berkshire blankets that I have got matted and didn't wash well for me, but I thought I was following the care instructions. Air dried, and washed normally, but they never fluffed up again. Might have been user error, I dunno.
All I DO know is that we LOVE these blankets as a family and my kids and I actually USE them. They are not decorative for us like many throws are.
While the Austin throw looks great and it's a nice price, it's substantially smaller than the Berkshire blankets. I realize that it's a completely different animal, tho.
Anyone recommend a blanket or throw that's nice enough to keep draped over a sofa or chair and yet really works as a great snuggle blanket?

Check out "Country Curtains"....Their Vail, Caroline and Camelot throws look very nice....I am very familiar with this store and their quality is excellent.....I mentioned in my post that I just bought their "Ruffled Throw" in the green and cream....This is a really unique, gorgeous throw...as a warm accent to a chair or couch....It is a light throw for this time of year and I don't really plan on using it as a snuggle blanket....It is more of an "accent throw".
Pottery Barn always has a good selection so keep checking with them also...Crate & Barrel too....The stores will be restocking for Fall/Winter soon.
