Strange decor.  I do not care for it.

I, also, like the windows & floors.

Don't care for the furnishings & decor style though.

The only things I like are the windows and the fireplace surround.

@stevieb  I love the windows, flooring, and fireplace, but the room is missing too much and does not look like a home.  Is that a bed on the left?  It almost looks like they have made the ballroom into an apartment.

@SXMGirl  It's a day bed and quite an elegant one at that. I had to enlarge the picture to figure out what was going on and interestingly enough, once I did, I garnered a whole new appreciation for this room... It's still not my cup of tea, but it's actually a pretty nicely done space...

I like the bones of the room... Like the arched, dark window frames, and a few of the elements, but overall, for me, this one's a meh... The light fixture needs to go...

Yes, excellent bones, but the decorative items are distracting.  The touches of red work for me, but some of the clutter needs to go.  Starting with that light fixture.

The candlesticks (?) on the mantel seem "wrong" and the animal rug spoils the mood.

With a little tweaking, this could be an impressive space.
