Wow, that's a lot of furniture for a foyer. Way too much.

I think it's beautiful and elegant.  Not too practical....but very pretty.

Lovely.

I have a similar large granite sphere on my front porch....it's perfectly useless  Cat Very Happy

When I saw it at a local nursery, I commented on it and, evidently DH thought I really wanted it!  Yikes, the thing showed up on the porch and I've been moving it around ever since to keep from tripping on it.

Didn't have the heart to tell him I only thought it was interesting, but  not at MY house.  It's near impossible to roll around and dangerous when it gets going Cat Very Happy

This space is very grandiose, but it appears they've converted it to a living room.  I bet they have at least 2 or 3 other living/family room spaces, so is all that furniture really necessary?

This must be the foyer of Marie Antoinette, right?

Wow, this looks like a French country home.  For a foyer, there's a little too much furniture for my taste, but I love the space.

It's beautiful if you like this style.  Not for me though.

Love the space but not the furniture.

Grand?  I'm inclined to call it ostentatious and theatrical.

Strive for respect instead of attention. It lasts longer.
