The curtains remind me of a family lake house we had forever way back in the 60's and 70's.

I see kind of an updated "70"'s vibe. Except for the curtains, it's not bad and even though I say that, the curtains do go with the decor. If I had to go back to the 70's, I like this better than many of that era.
