TSV--Candle Impression Tea Lights--Problems, anyone?

Is anyone else having problems with the Candle Impressions TSV from last month? The Tea Lights lasted one day---they come with the battery in them when the others in the set do not. The switch is not making contact---and to unscrew (why did they do that?) and insert newly purchased battery is a pain. Wonder if QVC will take back without the rest of the set---which I gave away!
