@Longtimewatcher ,  lucky you to be the possessor of Blenko!  Love the midcentury shapes and colors. You must have fun with your collection.

 

Edited to add--  I meant to say, @Enufstuff ,  you're right about that jar lid!  I always seem to notice the slag glass, in all colors-- there's something intriguingly 'earthy' about it, even though it's glass. The purple is pretty too:

Do you remember when QVC was selling Quakewax to solve that problem? I used to love watching the Fenton segments and was sad when they closed down.  I actually have some Quakewax left!  I keep it on the top shelf of my kitchen cabinet and every once in a while use it to stick some things together lol.  And it still works!
