Would love to hear your feelings about white.

How much white can you take--  lots, some, none?

I guess I would describe our home as mostly warm neutral.  All the walls and ceilings in our home are warm creamy whites (don't remember the paint color names).  We do have colors in other ways such as furniture, carpet, floors, wall art, . . .

This room has a bit of an ethereal feel with the combination of the stark white colors, vintage mercury glass mirror, chandelier, candelabras, peeling paint, and bright light coming through the windows.  But the presence of the sweet pup dials it back a bit by bringing levity to the scene.

Re: TO WHITE, OR NOT TO WHITE?

I prefer warmth in my home so there's very little white in my dwelling. Most of my walls are a soft creamy ivory with colored furniture and accessories. I would never buy white furniture. My kitchen cabinets look white from a distance, but when you get closer you can see they're not stark white.
