There's a design firm, Cullman and Kravis. They're the more "Park Avenue" type of designers-- more formal and maybe less eclectic than I prefer.

But, Elissa Cullman has always had an eye for enlivening color.   On those grounds alone, I like to browse.  A few rooms from different houses in the Cullman and Kravis portfolio:

This bedroom reminds me of the serene, pale celery bedroom that Lee Radziwill made famous.  Nice harmonious coupling with lavender too--

I do remember where this living room was from-- Miami.  Where else!

It isn't just color that makes the rooms, of course.  Look at that cool, ridged lacquered and upholstered bench in the foreground of this living room, such a striking piece.

Would you call these bedroom walls "light salmon"?  Pale terra cotta?

Red in this rustic kitchen is punchy!

There's hardly any color in this entrance to what looks like a "posh",  New York-type apartment.  But it's used so strategically, the whole space has a kind of dramatic impact.

Ditto in this creamy living room-- just a few sparks of a color, in the form of a creamy tangerine, draw you in...

@Bonkers1 - Agree!

I had a red kitchen and dining area once. I didn't choose it - it's just what was there. I ended up loving it, but I wouldn't choose it.

Thanks @Oznell for sharing the pictures.  Smiley Happy

I love the color aspect of these designers but, in most cases, I also prefer a bit more textured accessories with print to add visual interest.  Not so much that it's visual overload but most of these rooms could use a little more.

@Oznell   Now you talking!!!!!  I love high ceilings & colorful decor homes.

The red & black kitchen are the same colors as my bedroom.  My father always said (to everyone w/in ear shot) my bedroom looks like bedrooms inside a bordello.

My father died at the age of 92 & in all that time I never asked him how did he know what the bedrooms of a bordello look like? Smiley LOL

The last 2 rooms are OK for me but I know I would get very tired of looking at all that braight color after about 2 weeks if any of these rooms were in my home.

The last three photos are ok to me, as well as the patio with the colorful throw pillows. I would probably tire quickly though of a Red kitchen, but I remember when they were popular.. I like color, but in small doses!!!
