Hey, I'll take the French countryside too, @ManyMeows !  And your proposed menu of chocolate-stuffed croissants and fresh coffee, mais oui.

Me too, @faeriemoon !

Fascinated to hear the comments on chairs.  I used to have Breuer-type chairs, with that characteristic bent tubing, similar to these, but with the typical Breuer caning instead of leather.  For me, they made great dining chairs, not uncomfortable at all.  I'd like the soft give of leather even better.

I was going to say, I thought the chairs woven in leather would be comfortable.

Very calming tablescape! Cat Happy

that appeals to me except for the dinnerware on the table--think using dishes as decor is silly---but like the other things. I know its for the photos--when selling my house, the realtor wanted me to set the dining room table with dinnerware--I flat out told him no way! I did use a runner and then put out actual decor items  but no dinnerware.

Beautiful!  I love the chairs; leather would be very comfortable!  The pottery jug adds an earthiness as does, the amber glassware, fruit, and greenery; they almost make you feel a slight breeze.  I'm sure the guests wear long skirts and leather sandals!

This is a very pretty and inviting space! Love the muted tones, but those chairs look so uncomfortable to me...
