I really like this kitchen, except.............I would never have a sink in an island where people are gathering and eating, too sloppy, and those chairs look awfully uncomfortable.

This isn't horrible. 

I like the blue wall above the window and the dark rich wood on the island, both warm the space and keep it from being too sterile and cold.

Yes!  It needs a microwave over the stove but otherwise, I like it a lot.

It's beautiful, I would just change the stools, and add some color and perfection!

It's very clean looking & streamlined which I like, but I would need a bit more color. A different color blacksplah would help. I really like the cabinets. I'm not loving the chairs or hanging lights.

My kitchen is similar. I do not care for the office chairs. Window needs curtain to give the room some color. The walnut island is very expensive - I would love that.  I disagree about a microwave over the stove. The custom hood is much more classy.  The trim work is very nice as is the wall color
