Sun Joe Snow Joe warranty issues

At Christmas time I purchased the air compressor that was offered by QVC.  It arrived shortly before Christmas.  When I opened the package, a piece (nozzel holder) was broken in the package.  As this was intended as a Christmas present, rather than return to QVC, I contacted Sun Joe who offered to send a replacement part (in hindsight I should have returned the item to QVC).

 

Time went by and the part did not arrive.  So I emailed their customer service department.  They insisted the part was sent but they offered to send another (?) to me. I received an email on April 2 stating the product had been sent to me.  

 

Yesterday after not receiving that part, I went to the April 2 email and the UPS tracking info provided revealed the delivery had been canceled by the vendor.

 

So I again emailed Sun Joe and to their credit they answered immediately and today I received a follow up email stating that the replacement piece was no longer available and they would be sending me an entire unit to replace the 'non working unit'.  I only wanted the replacement piece!  

 

The part so alarming to me is that they would be including a return postage paid label for the 'non working unit' to be returned and I had 40 days to do so OR they would be sending me a billing invoice.  RED FLAG...I don't think this is going to turn out well for me from this experience with the replacement piece and i immediately emailed them NOT TO SEND ME ANOTHER UNIT!

 

Anybody out there have any issues with Sun Joe?  I am so disappointed with this company I can't recommed anyone purchase their items.

I have a few Sun Joe products and have had no issue with them. The warranty was one of the reasons that I made the purchases. I would have some type of "proof" for your return package to prevent any confusion on their part. I might also considering contacting Dan Hughes on his facebook page because he knows the owner. He might be able to help (or not) with your problem.

Sun Joe has been GREAT to deal with - which is why I continue to purchase their products; I've had two issues and Sun Joe customer service was amazing! They replaced the first item and they sent the part I needed for the second! Fast and professional! Will continue to support them!
