Do you like them? Pier 1 has project idea and stems. I’m not convinced I could dust them. Real succulents don’t fare well under my care. My houseplants are spider plants and peace lilies.

I have a few faux succulent arrangements. I really like them.
We are often away from home a month or two and no one is here to water or take care of plants. My daughter does stop by to check on things, but she does not have a green thumb.
My house is a dust bowl, but my faux succulents don't require much care, unlike my silk greens which get really dusty.

If they get dirty, run them under running water.

Oh I love succulents! Not inside my home though. I have a lovely rock garden surrounding my front patio with succulent plants planted in all of my huge rocks. They are so pretty and don't need any care. ![]()

I just lost my real cactus after 24 years :-( Years ago I bought a faux cactus arrangement from nearly natural. I don't know what happened to it either.

How do you grow Peace Lilies inside?
Need to know.

I know you aren't talking to me @Drythe. Given that I have been the recipient of many funeral arrangements in the last decade, I have two peace lily plants. Mine were established plants when I got them. One gets the rising sun from the front window and one gets the setting sun from the rear window. Just keep them really hydrated and they will take off like a weed.

@Drythe It's a miracle I grow anything in this house. My cactus was my pride and joy.
I put the peace lilly from Ma's funeral (2010) in a huge deep pot that drains. I think it needs to be split or separated at this point and I will have to look on youtube to figure out how to do that. It 'lillies' for me all year long and every time I see one I say, Ma are you thinking about me?
The peace lilly from my sister's funeral (2016) has other plants mixed in with it. So far all of the plants in the nice sized planter are doing okay. I'm thinking the whole lot will need to be moved into a bigger planter. That one 'lillies' for me to, just not as much as Ma's plant.
One thing I love about a peace lily is that it lets you know when it's thirsty. It gets droopy, you water it and bam in an hour or so it's perky.
The oldest plant I have now is some kind of plant that I don't know what it is. I remember my inlaws sending us a poinsettia plant with other plants in it Christmas of 2003. It didn't take me long to kill the poor poinsettia. The rest of the plant is doing okay. It's a slow growing kind of plant.
Maybe I should take a picture of it and post it here one day. I bet the real plant people could identify what it is.
Okay, I'll shut up now, rofl.
