I agree, but the trestle table goes centurys back as do Windsor chairs.  I think the better term here would be "Elements Of Farmhouse".

@ECBG or elements of a modern interpretation of farmhouse. To be sure trestles and slat backs go way back but these are pretty clearly revised editions... Smiley Wink

I like both spaces; the first more than the second.  However, as others have stated, I'm not so sure about calling them Farmhouse anything.

Re: Style Called Rustic Farmhouse

I see nothing in the first picture remotely rustic except the table and chairs. Beautiful set but to me it stands out like a sore thumb.

Second picture isn't very rustic farmhouse either, a few elements yes.  Maybe the label is misleading?

@Sooner, Woman LOLWoman LOLWoman LOL, Me Too sooner. This must be someone that never actually spent time in a real farmhouse.

@tiny 2 Hey, maybe sprinkle a few dried soybeans on the floors (OUCH if you step on the little devils bare foot!), and a nice coat rack with a pair of dusty coveralls to make it more authentic?

Re: Style Called Rustic Farmhouse

Now these are nicely done even if this isn't my style.  I'm not seeing much rustic though....I see farmhouse w/ a "tiny" bit of of a modern thrown in.

Very pretty rooms.  Does not look like a farmhouse to me in any way, shape, or form.
