Been in my new place for a month now--and still dealing with boxes!!!! OMG--then I threw out my back and have been down and out for nearly 2 weeks--been going to chiro and its going to take a few more appts--thank you moving gods --for not letting this happen during the great move!!! Anyway--DS came over Saturday and put my big ****** TV together--that thing is giant--why in the world do I have such a monster??? Then he and DD put together her bedframe---as I am an invalid at the moment--and just those 2 actions was a shot in the brain for getting stuff done for both of us. While I am still on the mend, think I can tackle more now--- not doing the lifting and carrying of the boxes yet ---gotta get this back situation under control. 🫤

I applaud your fortitude!!!! Keep on plugging away at it, @wagirl ! We bought this house nearly 30 years ago and I had ut boxes in the attic . . . they are still there-unopened. When we can't find anything we jokingly assume that it's in one of those boxes!!!

GOOD NEWS-😁------ I finally unloaded the masses of ,,,,,stuff... on my dining table and DD and I actually sat at it and ate our dinner last night!!!! Just like real civilized people!!!!!💓🤪 but first we needed to turn it upside down and make sure the table legs were attached firmly---it was thrown together just for the space of it all-- Am seeing progress lately--my back is better too. But still not going whole hog on the anything too physical. But HURRAY!!!!!

So FINALLY----this new apt is getting to look like home!!! Good grief--it's taken almost a month from when I moved to get the ton of boxes gone. Have a few more that need to be gone thru, but for the most part--DD and I are living like real humans!! My amazing SIL came over and took away much of my weirdly enormous stash of storage containers-😬--??????----just have no words for that ---she took some and I kept some but most of it went to her fave thrift store. I organized them and found their new home as well as did the same to my pots/pans and lids. Took out the rest of the empty boxes to recycle. and then.......started to build my bathroom cabinet storage so I can get rid of the wire racks that are still in there. My bedroom needs more love but at least I can walk around in there--kind of🫤--built my new desk too. The kitchen is pretty much up and running. Now the balcony needs a clearing out---Yay!!!!

Finally--- the unpacking--for the most part--- is at an end--at least the tower of boxes--everywhere🫤is gone!! Moved the last of Jan this year- to a new place--and after 2 weeks, down and out with back issues, last month--in Feb------ I am getting my mojo back and setting up room by room. Yesterday I attacked the pile of stuff that was stored on the balcony---stuff for outdoor use mostly, but after going thru a couple of huge totes, I found a bunch of Vera Bradley purses, wallets, etc--prob 10 or so and a box of my DDs porcelain dolls--when she was little-- OMG!!! I was so afraid they were a musty, moldy mess from being stored outside --and they are in prefect shape!! Now the dolls will be donated and the VB stuff?? Maybe can sell them--they are vintage. Finding little treasures is fun--but trying to deal with them--not so much!!!🤨
