Don't like the light but otherwise sort of appealing and a good use of space, but the window seat isn't for perching on for very long...

I agree, the light has to go. But I like everything else.

I never know what to make of books being used as decorative item.  Somehow they seem discounted by doing that.

I like it too and it does not look cluttered; great use of space.  The light has to go.  Smiley Sad

Like the area very much.  The small lights on the inside of the book shelves is an odd placement.

What a great way to utilize/decorate that area; it adds a lot of charm and character. I'm not a fan of the overhead light, either. The side lights on the bookshelves were a smart addition, that's a nice way to incorporate some ambient lighting.

I like the space and idea, but I agree that the hanging light needs to be changed. I’m not sure how comfortable that window seat really is though.

Good use of space.   That light just doesn't fit, imo.
