As much as I love stained glass they ruined it with the oversized lighting and the big lions. The glass is big in itself.

There is too much going on, esp. in a very narrow entry:  the two wrought iron suspended city street lights.

When you use stained glass, you need to be aware of what the light coming through will be like as it adds to the mix

I can't tell if the floor is tile or an intricate parquet wood design.  The color of the glass is kind of reflected onto the floor.  

If the floor is wood, I like the entryway sans the statues.

Yes, a bit over-the-top.  But the stained glass is so beautiful.  It would be interesting to see this space lit up at night.

I love stained glass but this way too much for such a small entryway.  The lions and lantern lighting would have to go also

The entryway is way too gothic and the colors in stain glass are too intense!  NO!
