The problem with using real pumpkins, esp. inside the house, is they will go bad before the the end of the season.

However, your display is very nice.

@IShopQ Beautiful display! How inviting! We were at a Lancaster County Old Order Mennonite farmstand on Saturday, and guess what? They had multiple displays of their pumpkins - stacked! I'm not sure we could have bought a stack for $9, but they were cute as all get out! You did very well!

I had my 15 yr old granddaughter with me and she spotted that one. We both thought there was something kind of Dr Seuss about it. 😀

I actually use real pumpkins in the house every Fall and always feel bad getting rid of them the day after Thanksgiving because they are still in pristine condition. We have a lot of wooded area on our property so I am able to break them up out of sight of the house and there are plenty of critters out there to eat them so there is no sign of them in the Spring.
