Home decorating magazines that I subscribe to are featuring many beautiful shades of minty green in everything from vintage Jadeite kitchenware to painted furniture, wallpapers and draperies.
It is a very refreshing and charming color for this time of year, but probably would strike me as out of place during winter months in colder climates. If I could switch out decor from one season to another, that soft green would definitelly be one of my choices.
I recently invested in two Le Creuset cast iron casseroles in gradient shades of mint green, and do enjoy looking at them, because my house is so strongly decorated in neutral colors that some folks would think are pretty boring.
In my previous house, I used to get many compliments on the Benjamin Moore "Carolina Gull" color on walls above some of the kitchen counters. It is a dark green that sometimes hints at a little bit of blue. Never got tired of it. It was the only non-neutral color in the kitchen and really stood out.

I definitely think that growing up facing that 1970s avocado green bathtub and sink every day, along with grass green shag carpet in some of the bedrooms, caused me to dislike most shades of green early in my life. I also remember lots and lots of bright medium/emerald green double-knit being worn back then. I don't know why that stuck with me. LOL
I've really warmed to dusty muted sagey greens from the lighter to the darker. It's crazy how when I'm looking at my Sherwin-Williams fan deck for tans or beiges or off-whites, or even for light blues, I find myself right back into the sagey gray-green colors before I even realize it. I am drawn to those colors.
I'm also lately drawn to using some brighter pastel green touches, from lime to mint, but they only work in my kitchen.
The one exception to my early dislike of all green is olive drab. I've always liked olive drab in a safari style shirt and will choose it over any other color in a heartbeat. I can't remember not ever owning and wearing one.
@AuntG, I have seen some newly painted older houses lately that are light sage and I love how they look. I hope you love your new siding.
@Regal Bee, fun thread!

My husband was a 22 year Air Force retiree and did not want to see green in our home, except plants of course. Wonder why? LOL Now that I am a widow, I do enjoy adding splashes of green to my home decor.

I, too, always hated greens, but now find myself loving them, esp. the sages. Thinking of putting light sage drapes in my LR and DR.
Thought they were just making better greens, but perhaps it is my taste changing. Loving many of the new green car shades, too. Odd.

For in the home I like mint greens and seafoam colors or very dark forest greens. I'm not a fan of yellow greens like chartruese or olive.

Love most shades of green -- I have green eyes and look fab in the mossy shades.
However, I lived through Avocado appliances so not sure I'd ever convert my kitchen at this point.
Avocado, Harvest Gold, and some burnt orange color were all the rage at one time.
The Jadeite pottery that Martha Stewart collects is a wonderful, soothing shade of green.

I was in a Home Goods the other day and the display that caught my attention the most (other than the coastal) was the one with many shades of green.
