First of all, I DO NOT want hardwood flooring for several reasons. (Wheelchair use, dog nails, on a slab and I eventually will have a slab leak.)
I have been looking for a flooring I can put over my existing tile. Due to shifting soil, my tile is cracking. I am looking a "floating" systems where the is a rubber/plastic backing on the tile to avoid the cracking.
Below are two web sites.
One is SnapStone.

The other is Kwik-Tile

Has anyone had any experience with these products?
I am thinking of changing my color scheme. The Mist (grey) SnapStone is the same color as the dirt I get from the streets & rubber of my wheelchair wheels.........
I have Golden Oak raised panel kitchen cabinets. I would have a cool color floor with a warm color kitchen cabinet. New oiled brass hardware throughout. Any ideas on wall color & counter top colors?
Thoughts appreciated.
