This looks like a pretty little space to relax, read, chat, take a nap, etc. Love the swing. I always wonder about windows without any covering though. I hate it when light is directly in my eyes. I’m not sure that rug would be comfortable on my bare feet.

Re: Small Sun Porch Room

[ Edited ]

I think the room is too tiny for the larger pieces.  But then everybody thinks my collectible room is messy so who am I to say?  ;-)  I have a space that was once screened in that we made into a glass room but it is bigger than that.  I would feel so enclosed in that space that I would have difficulty breathing.  I don't like to get into the MRI scanner because I am a bit claustrophobic but I do, out of necessity, but I would have to wear that wall down and make the room larger.

I do, however, love the mix of textures, colors, etc.  Lovely.

The room is much too small fo the furniture that’s in it ... I would never feel relaxed or comfortable in it👎

Nice enclosed space, but would need more walking area at the end of those lounges to serve food, beverages, etc., plus a hanging lamp or floor lamp. That tiny little lamp wouldn't be enough to read in the evenings.

Those hanging chairs are wondeful on a patio! I've had a couple and adore them. Very comfortable on a lazy summer afternoon or evening.

I like the space but would have a comfortable couch rather than the chairs shown as there would be more room to move about.  Also curtains for me are a must, privacy.

@wilma  I like the room and the furniture but I agree that it could use more space.  It is a little tight trying to walk around the chairs, even though they look very comfortable.

I like the space.  A cup of tea or hot chocolate and a good book/ or good read on my kindle and I'm all set.

I love it; love the swing, love the big furniture.  In general, I love big furniture. (And big art.)

That room is fabulous!  The color, the windows, the comfy furniture, all of it!

I so agree with the "thumbs-up" people on this thread!

In a narrow sun porch like this, I have no problem with chunky, comfortable chaises that might be slightly oversized for the space.  I'd be using this room to come out and relax, read, gaze outside, sip tea sitting on the chairs, and wouldn't need to be moving about with plenty of square footage around me...

Oh, also like the textures of basket chair and nubbly, organic rug.  Everything spells serenity to me.

I'd almost be looking at this as a private little deck on a luxury ocean liner, ahh.
