It's not practical for everyday use.  It's a good use of space for out of season clothing but it would need doors on it to keep the dust away.

So you do some ironing, or even just laundry.  Then you have to sort by section and go up and down several times to put the hanging garments away.

I honestly have no desire to climb a ladder to get to my clothing...especially when I am in a rush in the morning.
