Sliding Patio Doors Decorating

Does anyone have any solutions for covering sliding patio doors? I have the verticals, but they're old, and dated. I was thinking of installing a curtain rod with grommets on the top of the curtains, so they could just slide to one side when opening the slider, and closing for privacy and the sun..any suggestions?
