Sleep Number Questions

We must have watched all or most of the SN presentations yesterday and today. I did not hear them talk about what extras you have to buy in order to use this mattress. My questions are:

1. Does this type of mattress go on top of my existing box spring or does something special have to be purchased? Can my existing bed frame, (headboard & footboard) be used?

2. Can I use a bed-skirt with this type of mattress.

3. Adjustable or "non-adjustable" what's your preference?

4. Is this mattress as "great" as people have said?

5. It it really "that" easy to set up yourself?

6. From the floor, how high is the bed?

I sure hope some of you can and will answer some of these questions. We are planning to check out the local Sleep Number store to check them out, but I can just imagine the "hard sell" tactics.
