Beautiful - huh!  Got mine, haven't burnt it yet.  The scent reminds me of hot, blueberry muffins right from the oven - yum!

Pretty nice for the price.

There is a 'seam' in the ceramic that runs through the blueberries that isn't all that attractive, but wasn't something I noticed right away, so must not be too bad.

I think the smell of the candle is nice, (very sweet, but I like that) but honestly, I feel his scents are rather cheap smelling.  I base that on the quality of the wax and smell from back in the day when Yankee was new and based on much of Kringle Candle's current scents. Also, many years ago, Old Virginia Candle Co. had really great scents.

I find little today in candles that has the same strength and purity of scent that I would find back in the 1980's and 1990's. Perhaps it is because the candles are being made with different components now, and like most things maybe they are skimping on the scents.

I haven't burned it yet, and still considering getting the strawberry one or getting another one of these as a gift.

What a great picture, very clear!

I too received my TSV items.  I have the apple and blueberry and both have pleasing strong aromas.  I am happy with this purchase and just hope the aroma is lasting. Also the pieces are very decorative and well made.

@spiderw

I have never cared for the ceramic pieces Harry has brought (since he has come back, I really never paid attention to his products when he was here before), but I will say these are well done.

I thought based on the pictures and TV presentations, the blueberries were the most realistic looking, with the strawberries coming in a close second.

I can see where these would be too country/casual for a lot of people's decor, but if the subject matter suits someone, I would say these are worth the money for sure.

Looks pretty!

I bought one for myself and one for a friend and have decided to give both away. They are super cute.

Wow you brought back memories with that reference to Old Virginia candles .....those were great candles.  And I used to buy McCalls candles from a gift shop.  You are right candles have changed...no where near the quality .....its either drowning wicks, or soot, or lack of scent after the first burning.....I used to love Yankee Candles too...there are a couple of their scents I still like but one you can only get online now...hate when they do that...because I dont want to ship candles to Texas in the summer....they arrive a bit melted.  And most of their newer candles have no fragrance...Woman Frustrated....

Anyway, glad you are enjoying your blueberry Slatkin candle and ceramic figural....Woman Very Happy

mominohio,

I love your photo.  The blueberries look great in your display!  It has a real nostalgic feel to it.  I used to carry the Old Virginia Candle Company in my shop.  I loved the triple pours they did!  Times have changed though, and I am grateful we have Harry back at QVC!
