Re: Simple but Pleasant Dining Room

I like it.  The bright, open, airiness of it.

I'm not one of those that feels every room has to have a *splash* of color.

Sometimes, around a dining table, conversation is the only thing needed, no *conversation piece* needed.

This is a very attractive room,  I could definitely be comfortable sitting at that table. I like the soft hint of color on the walls, very nice!

I would like it if the fabric on the seats of the chairs were different to make more of a statement.

Oh, yes, it is pleasant and cute.  I would put some curtains on that long window, tho.  I'm thinking perhaps there is a twin window on the other side of the FP?

I really enjoy looking at and critiquing these pictures!

Beautiful ...love the color of the walls.  Thinking of getting screens for my bedroom windows....instead of curtains, shutters or blinds

Perhaps the screens would be used for the second window.

Re: Simple but Pleasant Dining Room

I like this space.  I don't love the chairs or the mirror, and the mantel decor is a little too predictable (boring.)
