Shower curtains, yea or nay?

We want to remove our secondary baths shower doors (corrosion 25 yrs old). I am not ready to buy new glass doors. I was looking at the hookless here on Q any preferences.

Re: Shower curtains, yea or nay?

I bought a couple of these for my mother and they are great. One style had the window. I liked that one because it allowed light into the shower. The other style is one of the fabric ones. It's waterproof even though it's fabric. It's really pretty and doesn't ""look"" waterproof. One caution is it's really light and doesn't stay in place. I'm sure we could get weights for the corners. They are really easy to put up and they slide well on the rod.

I have the hookless curtain and I like it. It has a window panel in the solid color which helps let in light to the shower area. This type if curtain isn't only available on Q. I got mine in Big Lots and I've seen them in other stores, too.

Thanks, I assumed they had some magnets or weights. I like the window also. The price point isnt bad, if it gets grungy I will buy another. I think it will be a year before we tackle a major redo. It seems after 25 yrs in the house everything needs to be redone. I am more cautious (careful) in my old age.

Re: Shower curtains, yea or nay?

I first got the vinyl hookless with the window in pink from QVC, but can't find that anymore. The Hookless people swore they never made a pink one, so then I just bought it in white. Found a fabric one at the thrift store still in package so that'll be my next one, it was $5. The new ones are about $25. Never had a problem with movement with the vinyl one. The fabric one I bought has magnets, but it looks like it was made especially for a hotel.

I like cloth shower liners you can wash. They have weights at the bottom.

Get a pretty one that you like, of any type, and buy one of those waterproof shower curtain liner from Bed Bath and Beyond.

The waterproof liner then hangs down inside the tub and the pretty one shows on the outside.

I found a fabric waterproof hookless at Walmart and it's prettier than any I've seen on QVC, a lime, turquoise, dark blue plaid.
