My husband shampooed our faux suede sofa and the are parts of it that came out very rough. Normally the surface is very soft and smooth. I am not sure I am explaining  it correctly. But I am wondering if its something he did or did not. Thank you all

Has it been shampood before?  Is it suppose to be shampood?  Maybe all of the shampoo didn't come off?

@spumoni99 Yes it has been shampooed before and the werid feeling is not all over the sofa so I am thinking not all the shampoo came off. Thank you

"You know what" HAPPENS!    My late husband polished my car so hard, he took the paint off...

@I am still oxox.  It sounds like you're using a cleaning agent and some of it is not being extracted.  It dries on the fabric and makes it stiff.  Try going over those parts with some plain clean water after cleaning.
