Sewing a Shower Curtain -Help!

Hi! I have this idea to sew my shower curtain out of DOTTED SWISS fabric. Rod 1 will be a gathered valance; Rod 2 will be a tie backed panel & Rod 3 will be a store bought clear plastic shower curtain. I really love the idea of the fabric but I wonder if it is too thin to handle the moisture & will look all wrinkly after a few showers.

I could line it if anyone thinks that might help.
