Could be either a converted garage or stable.

It doesn't match the house IMO. 

I think the sliders open to bring the outside in. We were in a house that had a indoor/outdoor kitchen like that in Vegas but the house was a much more modern style. The family room also opened to the outside ..it was gorgeous but not for everyone of course.

I'm trying to come up with a mature response but everything in me is yelling: YUCK!!!

 

That could have something to do with the fact that I've been hanging out with a 5 year old. Make that 5 1/2.
