Scroll beds

I need a new bed (after 33 years, it finally wore out-gee, wonder why?) and I am looking at some of those pretty "scroll" beds on Wayfair. ( I don't know what else to call them).  Does anyone have one of those beds and how do you like it?  Is it flimsy?  (I am wanting a full size bed.

Are you talking about a metal bed with scroll work?  Something along this line?

I only like the ones with solid wooden frames and the scroll work within the headboard and footboard as an accent.   My teacher daughter had a pretty white scroll bed that went out the door because it was flimsy, unstable, and squeaked with every movement.

Yes, that's what I meant.  I was wondering if they weren't a little unsteady.  They are so pretty, but I want something with a firm base!
