This kitchen she did a while back became sort of famously emblematic of her work. Benjamin Moore's "Ivory" is on the cabinets.
I really like her soft traditional style, accented with global touches and stunning fabrics. Here's a smattering of her designs.
Beverly Hills house:
So subtle, and quietly appealing-- not exactly "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", thankfully! Love the way she brings out the tones of the Oushak rug in her vintage pillow and throw textiles, the ombre lampshade, etc.
And once again, the English country effect of 'naked', aged terra cotta pots on mantel, that Margo Roth had in her Winston-Salem house. Love clay plant pots for decor-plentiful, inexpensive and so garden-y.
An example of Samperton retaining the owner's own furniture, tucking this table and chairs in the living room. So useful.
Little jewel box powder room.
Quiet comfort.
I really like when there is enough room to deploy useful chests as bedside tables.
Relaxed family room.
END OF BEVERLY HILLS HOUSE.
Now, a selection of vignettes from other houses she's done. Love the way she puts things together:
A formal dining room detail.
Love the crazy lamp and parrot juxtaposition...
Perfect bench for that alcove.
Living room in a Brentwood cottage.
Love this porch.
Orange and pink-- so stylishly Sixties! Can't remember, this might be Florida, given the bright palette...
Part of the charm of her rooms, are the diverse, exotic textiles that she designs herself and incorporates. A few examples:
I could just wallow in those!
Here's an unusual project. She was asked to create a window onto the past, for some store or something. She chose the fabled Bloomsbury Group (of which Virginia Woolf was a part). Here's a display she did as a tribute to artists Vanessa Bell (Virginia's sister) and Duncan Grant. So romantic, and transporting to another time and place:
I assume the doggie was only a 'transitory' part of the display!
Boy, it's so easy to get carried away by the talent and visual virtuosity of such a designer.

I like a lot of this, however some of it tis too busy for me. I don't like a lot of different patterns together. But some of the rooms are beautiful, as well as the outside!

Overall, I like her aesthetic. There are always excpetions and things one would change, but many appealing rooms, features and elements.

I find this designer's creativity very appealing. Every photo has lovely furnishings, decor, style. There is much to admire throughout and very little I would change if anything. Being someone who loves formal , I can appreciate so many details. I especially liked her tribute design to the Bloomsbury group, beautiful.

What I love is her use of color. Of course, that's most likely because as I've been redoing, those aspects of the rooms which are grossly expensive of time and money to change I am keeping neutral, but I love color and have been using it extensively whether for decor I already own or for new occasional furniture, rugs, pillows, etc.
Some years ago when I was searching for a house-warming gift for good friends, a decorator suggested I should choose something red. His feeling was that every room is improved with even a small bit of it. Works for me.

Some of it is really soft elegance, very pretty. Some is a bit loud for me. But a real designer and artist takes chances and in this case it works. Lovely.

I do like the Family Room, Bath, and outdoor area of the Beverly Hills home. I also like the Sun Porch in the other home.
The other rooms are just OK.

Most of her design style is just not for me but I do appreciate that, for the most part, her rooms are full but not overdone to the point where it just becomes clutter. Those outdoor spaces are beautiful!!

I really like what she does--nice colors, textures and even the decor is nice--and I have to admit that I am totally in love with wallpaper again!!!! If I had the chance to do an accent wall or 2 in wallpaper, I would in a heartbeat!! Love her choices!!!
