Re: Rustic Yet Refined Kitchen...

[ Edited ]

This is a nice kitchen....The only thing Im not overly fond of is the Valance & Shade on the window...I would have chosen something different....  And perhaps also add a bit of color throughout the space...

I do not like the floor and the colors of the cabinets to go with it.  In other words, I do not like this kitchen.

Re: Rustic Yet Refined Kitchen...

I've never been a fan of mixed styles and don't think the room flows together at all.  There are certain elements I like (table & the beams) but then some others are just horrendous no matter what the decorating style (chandelier, chairs, backsplash or whatever that thing is).

I would like it with a large island or large table and chairs. I like the colors..not sure about the floor.

@stevieb

I like the kitchen overall - just not the chandelier & hood.

Re: Rustic Yet Refined Kitchen...

I'm seeing blue where everyone else is seeing gray.

Comparing the cabinet color to the SS stove and hood (don't like the hood at all) and the gray marble backsplash behind it.

The cabinets and stark white sink are too cool for the table and chairs (which are mismatched).

I guess that's a fridge on the far left or maybe a tall pantry as it doesn't look deep enough for a fridge, but whatever it is, it's placed right in front of a door way leading to a butler's pantry (?).

If I had to, I'd keep the beams and the floor and the chairs, do cream colored cabinets with a warm earthy granite.  Ditch the table, range hood and marble.

Then you could critique my kitchen.Woman LOL

The kitchen is okay except the chandelier and chairs have to go.   I love the many lower level drawers instead of cabinet doors; went with this idea 5 years ago in my kitchen update.

I like the look of the kitchen, but I don't care for the brown of the wood with that tone of gray.

I love this kitchen and especially the fact they have a table and chairs rather than an island.  It looks comfortable and warm!!!!!!!  I also like the chandelier as I would have one in every room!

There’s nothing in this room I really like or would want. It’s just not my colors or style.

Oh no.  Nothing I like either.  Those shades/valance look like they've been there since the 70's.
