I'd just end up with a lot of splinters.  I just know I'd keep bumping against those "rustic" planks.  Although, my cats might like them as scratching posts!

That corner of wood looks like it could catch a fabric or cut your skin. The room looks dark.

I'd like this if the reclaimed wood were all on one wall to make a focal point wall.  I don't care for the corner look of this.
