@CANDLEQUEEN I agree with a new color pallet.  I have redone our home since I bought our first one about 15 yeas ago. I would have bought another one but the new updated colors were not there and still not. I think something in the gray family would be nice or a taupe, not ivory.

I agree completely that royal palace needs to up date their styles and especially their colors!  I was really looking forward to the Tsv today but it’s the same old thing.  I have several of their rugs in my home and I love them.  I need to replace my bedroom rug as it’s very old but could not buy one today, sad.

@CANDLEQUEEN  I purchased one several years ago from qvc and it was horrid. It never stopped shedding after months and months.

I think the style of the rugs are not in fashion right now, more so than the colors (although I think more creams, tans and light browns would be popular).

Don't get me wrong, the TSV rugs are stunning, and there was a day I'd want them in my home. Even I, who tend to be much behind/outside the most current decor trends, has to admit the style of these rugs is very limiting to only certain kinds of decor. They are very busy for where most of today's decor trends (and those of the last decade really) are/have been going.

Beautiful works of art, but not really for the majority of today's consumers.

I have some of their rugs and they wear like iron and look like new after much use and abuse. I too wish they could get more with the times and give us some things more updated.

Even I didn't purchased any rugs today. And I had such a fiasco six weeks ago when ordering five of the smaller rugs for bathrooms. Of the five ordered, only two were the right color and size! Not a great percentage of accuracy from Royal Palace's shipping dept.

Fortunately, I had only opened one and contacted QVC to explain the problem. They sent a pre-paid label to return it. The other two were the incorrect sizes (which were apparent without opening the packages), so I simply "Refused" both packages. Took a while to receive my credits, but ultimately they appeared on VISA.

I would like 100% wool rugs with colorful stripes or circles! Seems like they had an offering about a year ago (maybe more) with a patterned rug. Unfortunately, I missed the show. When I heard about it, only the large sizes were left. My home is carpeted with a thick, plush Karastan throughout most of it. I do have Oriental rugs (on top of the carpet) in the MB bedroom and in the library.

Money screams; wealth whispers.

I have a couple of the burgundy rugs that I purchased a few years ago.  Quality seems to be good.  I wasn't expecting to, but I ordered a 5x7 and the long runner in sapphire.  I do like my reds and blues.

I have several of them.  I really like them.  The TSV's did not come in any sizes I wanted.

I even still have some rolled up that I've never used.  Friends have asked me if they could have them, and normally, I give things away.

However, I am not giving these away.  They are well made and durable.

ITA!!! They are very well made rugs but so dated in the colors and designs. I would have purchased a grey and caramel colored rug.  I just didn’t care for the colors or design of the TSV.
