I have an oval table that has 2 leafs which I love. I hate the sharp corners of a square table .

May I ask your advice about a rectangular table in a bay window area?
I will take a pic once he's done sitting at the "crappy" table there now...lol😉
He loves it ugh...
thank you🌷

Whether any given shape table will work in any given space is most often going to come down to the dimensions of the table and the dimensions of the space. Beyond that, it's pretty much a matter of aesthetic preferences.

Guess that would be at Habitat for Humanity or St. Vincent Hospice store -- he's got a choice!
I just cant believe every person living here bought this table from Leader's and its the most uncomfortable chairs i've ever sat in let alone CASTERS on the chairs ... you go through the window if you're not careful!!!
I can't believe it cost $1,990...ugh...previous owners left it...wish they took it!

Let me know if I can help you!
This is my dining room but I work with all styles.
The tie top curtains are burgandy.

Love your DR area and all the beautiful decor of your home you share🙂
So here is my breakfast nook area. I would like a 54" round wood table or rectangular table which I'm yet to find w/nice chairs (with no casters🙈)
Right now I'm looking at FB market fair and online yard sales. Although, he loves this table I can't stand it ...not only is it old it's dangerous. I've thought of buying just chairs for the time..
These are the only 2 I like (more leaning towards round one):

#2
Thank you!🌷

I would suggest your second choice, the blonde set with round chairs and a very interesting support! I think a rectangle would prove to be very uncomfortable to move in this space.
