for a river ranch, i think it looks perfect.  reminds me of what you'd see at lake tahoe.

I would love this as my Chalet somewhere in the Mountains. I would switch out the chairs for 2 big comfy overstuffed chairs...then I'm on the first plane to my Chalet.

Normally, I'd be predisposed to like something labeled "river ranch", but I'm afraid this is a miss for me.

I find it raw (and not in a good way) and quite cold.  They didn't bother to finish the juncture where the fireplace ascends through the ceiling, the window surrounds are unappealing, the antler chandelier I don't care for and seems oddly placed.  Despite the gestures toward high style, the room seems oddly impersonal to me.

He seems to be better, but he has had pain meds until last night and he still has an appetite stimulant.  I leave tomorrow, so I won't be able to help with the monitoring, but he is eating more and he hasn't barfed so far.  (I did suggest that the handful of treats my mom had been giving him several times a day probably contributed to his condition. )

After removing the antlers hanging from the ceiling and the two pink chairs I like it.
