@stevieb  My favorite room is the dining room. I like that hint of antebellum sumptuous wood and white chair coverings. I just don't care for the chandelier. I think the decorator could have chosen better. The blue and white lamps are nice too for the room. Love the dough bowl centerpiece.

Nice post. Thank you.

@Queen of shop  Glad you enjoyed the pictures. I too liked the dining room, though I'm not a fan of chair 'skirts'... The chairs look like they'd be very attractive on their own... Agree, the ceiling light could be better, but love the sideboard and the lamps there...

I have a gorgeous carved wood front door.    I always felt it would be a sin to paint it but I'm leaning that way, if I find the right color.  I love this yellow door.   I'm leaning more towards a turquoise or some variation of a blue/green.

@software

I have a very nice mahogany door which, after 23 years, looked horrible although we tried to have it varnished or whatever it is called by the painters every 3 years.  It did not stand up well after that many years, but it has the last 5 years with that European paint for outdoors.  I can't remember the name.  The painter has the name.  He ordered it and completely sanded the door and primed it before painting and used a spray painting for it.

My door is not exposed to the elements, there's a full glass door in front of it.    I just want a change, after 20 years, I think it's reasonable!

I'm sure I will choose a good outdoor paint, there are so many choices just for a type of paint, then to choose the color.

What color did you go with?

Could it be the "Fine Paints of Europe"?

Very nicely done without being over done!

I would take the brightness of the white down a few notches!

This was interesting.  Many Thanks!

I like the idea of the two full size couches facing each other.   And I'll take the dog home with me.

I like the home but nothing says 'Florida' to me!  Not a common style that I have seen.
