Wondering if any of you could share your thoughts/experiences? We have a sofa and chair that either need reupholstering or replacing. We have gone back-and-forth about which way to go. Realize the cost of reupholstering can be close to a new purchase, but both pieces are at least 15 years old, and we don't believe there are structural problems. What I have read suggests that pieces this age that are still in good structural condition may be worth reupholstering as newer pieces may not be of the same/a similar quality.
Also, has anyone had experience with furniture companies they feel produce great quality pieces? The sofa is from Ethan Allen and it has been wonderful, so we are hopeful with that company - though it has been years since we have purchased there. We also looked at Arhaus, but on-line reviews for them are not very good.
Of course, there is always the challenge of locating a good upholsterer, but one step at a time as this is so new for us. {#emotions_dlg.unsure}
Greatly appreciate any thoughts! Thanks so much!!!
