Most bathtubs are very, very heavy.

My friend just had her bathroom redesigned.  If she'd wanted to change the tub (trying to get it out) would have doubled the cost.

A friend of mine (well she used to be) has 2 1/2 bathrooms.  She had one tub and had it removed.  I think it was the thin kind, not sure.  I told her she should have left one tub because someone buying a house in this development would probably have young children and would use a tub.

I have 3 1/2 bathrooms.  One full bathroom is called a Jack & Jill bathroom meaning it's in the middle of two bedrooms and can be entered separately from each bedroom.  I thought that would be the good place to put the tub.

It's interesting how decorating houses changes.  I know zip about decorating a house.  My husband designed our house, picked out the furniture, etc. I am not good at it and maybe that's why I don't care about it.  Ha!

Anyway, thanks for posting the wonderful pictures all of you post.  I enjoy seeing them.  I don't even move my furniture.  It stays the same way from the day I move in to the day I move out.

I've seen @ECBG's house and it's especially beautiful. She has a wonderful talent for decorating.

I'm in the process of redecorating.  I've given my youngest daughter full reign to do what she wants even though I'm the only person living here.  She talks to me first, so it works.

It seems like sitting in the tub could get uncomfortable (they're hard and not very long).

Have a good day and thanks again.

Why do I think of communes, 'Donovan' singing gauzey songs, and crunchy granola, ha.

I don't like tubs used in these ways.  As one who really likes clawfoot tubs, it also strikes me as such a waste-- I'd so love to have one in the one place I'd love it, our bathroom!

The bathtub fish pond is a poor ideaSmiley Sad

There's no way for the fish to hide from predators.

What a great topic! I like the ice chest and the little pond ideas.

I Like All of Em!

The idea of repurposing instead of tossing away, is super appealing to me.

I love stuff like that, the unexpected way to make something fun, functional, and pretty.

Not fond of these looks.  The one being used as a drink cooler is a danger to small children when it's empty allowing a child to get in there and hide, unable to get out.

Sometimes I think we've lost the ability to discern when something should be tossed out.  Woman Frustrated

These are just one step above a toilet filled with geraniums.

I actually like the funky mosaic clawfoot planter tub, HOWEVER, I would never own it.😊
