@whatsmyname

Hello!

We had windows replaced by them about 7 years ago, and 2 doors.  Very pleased with everything they did.  They have excellent quality products and do outstanding work.  Highly recommend!!

I dont know what the Renewal line is with Anderson but my mom put in Anderson windows ( that open out sideways) in the family home 40 years ago. My brother lives in the home now, the home is 70 years old now and the windows are still amazing.

A guy from Anderson came through our neighborhood door to door. We made an appointment. I just hope it’s not a scam! I wouldn’t make a commitment or pay any money until I thoroughly checked it out, but I don’t want a scam artist in the house. Is this how they normally work?

Just my opinion but I never deal with anyone who randomly comes to the door. I rarely if ever even answer my door. I have 2 no solicitating signs up and even then they don't seem to read them. Just be careful of random people who you don't personally contact. Make sure you call Anderson (not the number on his business card cuz it could be fake)  and make sure he's an actual employee. To many scammers out there. We're very cautious as to whom we deal with. My rule is if I didn't not personally make an appointment with you don't bother to randomly show up because you won't get my business.

I also used Window World for replacement of doors and windows. I found them to be completely professional and really nice people. They did a great job and I would use them again if need be. I did not do all the work at the same time but over years and they did not not change.

They are great at honoring their windows. We had a bird strike and it broke the glass. Window World replaced it for free.

Local businesses have all the products from brands. I had windows done and I had a local company. I had choices from everyone brand and kind and my installation was seamless. No solutions. No one pushing.

Look up local window and doors in your area. You can also call your chamber of commerce for standings , meaning how the company is in integrity .

We needed 1 window replaced and somehow DH made an appointment w/ Renewal.

Told him from the Get Go...JUST ONE.

Super pushy, insisted they would need to do them all....couldn't get him out of the house fast enough.

They don't have the sanest marketing approach in the world. I live in an apartment and my address clearly shows my apartment number, but they continue to send me flyers trying to get me to buy their windows. Uh, guys/gals? I live in an apartment. As a rule apartment dwellers don't buy replacement windows for their apartment. They've probably spent five or more dollars marketing windows to me when there's no way I can buy them. I dropped them a note suggesting they filter their mailing lists to exclude anyone with an apartment number and they then called me asking if I wanted new windows. Nope. They're not a company I'd invest in as they seem kind of stupid, at least when it comes to marketing.

Every so often they come through the neighborhood knocking on doors.

I don't answer the door to unknown people.  Every so often my husband will and they will not take no for an answer.

You can tell them no and they keep on talking.  He keeps on engaging with them until I tell him to just shut the door.
