@jubilant  This is a lovely room but I would have to change the two armchairs as for me these are too upright so I would use the same fabric but have two ‘squishier’ lower back armchairs then I could relax in lovely surroundings!

Love the white, love the archway, love the bookcase/nooks and their lighting.

Great idea to have flagstone in front of a fireplace and much further out than the usual hearth does.

We had wing backed chairs that reclined.  I liked the look of them more than the big, fat padded leather or micro suede chairs you usually see for recliners and they were quite comfortable, too.  The chairs are still in use in our former home and look great.
