I don't see "rustic" here.  Two vintage chairs maybe.

@NickNack    Did you ever decide to get a Roman shade for your bathroom?

@Kachina624   I was going to get them for my bedroom and bathroom.  I couldn't get ready made ones due to the size of my windows, so they were going to be expensive.

Then my 20 year old heat pump unit went out, and it was 80 degrees in the house.  I had to replace that instead.  šŸ™

I am going ahead with getting a chair in my bedroom reupholstered though.  I'm excited about getting that done.

I am not a rustic girl, but I do like Red and White together very much. I have a sister in law that has a lot of that color scheme in her french country home, and it is so beautiful!

Noticing that 5 out of 10 kitchen pics have watermelon as an *accent*.  I Don't get it.

The room looks like my Sunday target ad, so it is a pass for me.

I knew HB had slipped a few notches since the big housecleaning... Maybe now that the house is being cleaned again, it'll improve... Or at least hope springs eternal...

@stevieb

I thought something similar when I saw their logo at the bottom of the photo.

Why I used ā€œrusticā€...

I’m not an expert in interior design terminology. I can tell when I read posts that some people have a lot more knowledge on the subject than I do.

I simply choose photos that I think are interesting, beautiful, or unique in my eyes. I use the words that make sense to me when I post & describe rooms. I also try not to use words that might offend. In this case ā€œrusticā€ was the ā€œbestā€ word I could come up to describe parts of the room that I didn’t like.

@NickNack    I'd definitely take the heat pump over the window shade.  You'll need it this winter too
