I LOVE those light bulbs and have them in every lamp I have. They work great!!!! Got mine from HSN and not sure why alot of you have trouble with them--you put them in, turn on the tiny switch and they charge up and light up when the power goes out--automatically. I got the bright white--came with the little bottoms with hooks so you can take them with you and hang them up. Mine last about 4 hours but I have so many that I can have light all the time. You can turn them off too.
